  : Location was great walking distance to all the bars and restaurants close to pier
  : No elevator and we had the 3rd floor . We did a lot of walking so at the end of the night those stairs where brutal lol and the rooms where a lil dark no lighting it was hard to even put on my makeup

  : The rooms were nice , the staff was good , and the location was excellent.
  : The bathrooms were so small , but for the price , it wasn't as big of a deal. Once the cafe/ bar is finished , you need to warn the people staying in the first floor rooms about the noise. The walls are so thin that we could hear the get together the new owners were having as of they were in the room. I would have been pissed if it was late and I was trying to sleep. Fortunately It was around 5 pm , so it wasn't an issue.

  : Place is cute, but too much of a Fawlty Towers.
  : Bathroom is not ready for visitor from this century. Redone old style so you would expect good, yet the bathtub was propped up by planks, shower curtains so close they touch even when you try to fend them off. Nowhere to hang a towel or place toiletries. Room was so small there was not even space to have a chair. Temp control was by use of old fashioned window AC. Really...? Next time I'll refrain from testing new and different things as the norms of normality is too far away.

  : This hotel was a happy surprise. I was meeting up with a friend, after deciding not to travel outside the U.S. when the new testing requirements were introduced. There was a great airfare to Tampa on a real airline, so why not? An initial hotel search turned up only ridiculously high hotel prices around the Tampa Bay area. We're talking c-r-a-z-y high. What was the deal? . . . . Yup, guess who forgot about the Super Bowl? Then, the Cordova Inn showed up with a much more reasonable rate. It seemed as though it might be too good to be true, but in for a penny and all that. On the flight down, visions of the Slovakian hostel in "Hostel" did dance in my head. The hotel turned out to be very nice, though. It has a pleasant shabby-chic, historical vibe -- although there was no evidence of its being haunted during my stay. The room was comfortable and large, with windows looking out on the neighboring courtyard. The staff members and fellow guests were friendly and lively. The location is ideal: near everything in downtown St. Pete, including the pier and museums, with easy (and free) bus access all along Central Ave to the beach.
  : The only thing that bothered me at all was the piece of metal sticking out on my side of the bed in the middle. I slammed my shin on that sucker multiple times and still have the scars. Others have surely complained about it, no?

  : Not bad for the price. It was spring break for some counties and some hotels were crazy expensive. It was clean- the rooms felt clean. There were some ants that ended up near a drink one of the kids left out but its an older building in Florida so to be expected. Didnt really bother us (we are Floridians).
  : No elevator. Which normally wouldnt be a big deal, but the 3rd floor with a baby (pack and play and all her stuff) without and elevator was a little rough. The workers did offer to help- going up wasnt as bad as packing everything and bringing it all back down when we left. there is a small beach down by the pier but for our older kids it was too small, so we drove about 15 min to another beach.

  : The room wasnt cleaned well. We found condiments in the drawers by the bed, human hair in the shower, and no sign of the room being sanitized. You have to pay a resort fee at the last minute but I dont know what it covered.
