  : The location is great, it was very clean, and the one staff member I encountered was lovely.
  : If you’re traveling with someone, I hope you don’t have any secrets, because they will all be exposed here. The shower is only separated from the bed by the vanity and mirror. You have full view of the shower through the glass doors from pretty much the whole room. When you turn it on, the water splashes out onto the bathroom/bedroom floor, and it only has one tiny shelf. The toilet is separated from the bedroom by a barn door that doesn’t reach the floor and doesn’t lock. So it slowly slides open while you’re inside. The windows faced a residential street so you have to keep the shades closed so you don’t flash the neighbors. I’ve been with my partner 14 years, and it was still uncomfortable.

  : The staff of the hotel is incredibly nice! We really felt welcome and everything was smooth and easy. Upon arrival the staff will park your car, the rooms are clean, and the bed is super comfortable!

  : I think this hotel is in the perfect location but they know that they have a monopoly in that area and they charge excessive prices for the tiniest rooms.
  : Outside of its location being important, one of the main reasons I chose to stay here rather than Uber to a further location was the rooftop bar advertised. However, the rooftop was closed due to a wedding the night of our stay. Had I known this prior, I would’ve never booked for that price. The staff said that the rooftop is always booked during this season and it’s likely to be booked for the rest of the year. Customers should be notified of this somehow as to not get their expectations deflated.

  : The property was well maintained and fashionable. Very cool to see elements of the old school throughout the building.Staff were friendly and accommodating.
  : Be aware that the pet contract states: “I agree to always keep my pet with me and not leave my pet unattended in the room. Should pet be left in room unattended hotel reserves the right to remove my pet from my room. A $200 disturbance fee will be added to my bill, and I will be required to make arrangements to house my pet elsewhere or depart. I also agree to release TRYP by Wyndham Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville from all liabilities for removing my pet from my room or any injuries to the pet.”Had we been able to know this in advance, we wouldn’t have brought our pet, as we were in town for a concert that did not allow pets within the venue. Luckily for us we were able to secure a place for our pet outside the hotel at the last minute. Breakfast is not included in your stay, there is a small cafe to order breakfast and coffee for various prices. Both were adequate. Forced into paying a $25 valet fee for our car to be parked 100ft from the front door in the small lot for the hotel.
