  : Breakfast was good first two mornings. Very disappointed on third morning. Kept us standing in cold 20 minutes past 7:00 am and set up inside was not ready when they did let us in.
  : Bathroom was not safe for seniors. Toilet too low and bathtub was treacherous getting in and out to shower. No Wi-Fi and I'm sure we were given old room because stay was bought a year ago when lower rates were offered due to Covid. Did not enjoy walking through woods to breakfast on very cold mornings.

  : Good location, beautiful nature, ton of extra paid activities, amazing old mansion with free access close by, decent breakfast, perfect views, very friendly personnel. Big bathtub. Interesting room interior with A LOT of windows to be opened.
  : It is old. Outdated bathroom, smaller beds, odd mattress. The worst part that they do not have paved roads and outside lights, so when we got there after the sunset during the rain you have no way to get from the parking lot to your room with dry feet. You just have to walk through all this puddles and mud as you do not see a thing. For that price I would expect at least street lights. Also it was odd to discover that water in the bathtub when you fill it up is greenish. I guess it was an architectural gem. Years and years ago. But those times are long gone.

  : The breakfast was delicious and hosted in a beautiful room with lovely outside views.
  : The room we stayed in was spacious but the second bed was a pullout couch. Online our booking was for two queen beds. We made it work because the surroundings were beautiful and the restaurant was extraordinary.

  : Property and walking trails were peaceful.
  : The room had a double bed with a homemade headboard that was not attached to the wall very well. It made noise throughout the night and woke us up several times. The linens and bedding were wonderful.

  : The property was amazing for the views and ability to walk middleton place. We also enjoyed waking to the lake house for happy hour and sitting on the deck.
  : Im not sure how the property passes code inspection due to the inaccessibility to get into the rooms with a wheelchair. We fortunately do not have that issue but we did find it very difficult to get in and out of the entrance to the room on the first floor with our stroller due to the high step up. Also the way the entrance door is situated is odd as its in a corner and there cement steps that jetty over making the entrance tight and again very difficult to enter with a stroller and impossible for someone with a wheelchair. Also I understand the building blocks the sun from a 12x 20 , whats is supposed to be a grass area, but I feel some thought and effort could go into preventing the guests from walking through mud to get to the doorway. Nobody wants to get mud inside or have to take the time to clean their shoes every time they want to go inside the room. I suggest putting turf, a nice wood patio, or cement. Lastly we traveled from Miami Florida and we were looking forward to using the fireplace, they were unfortunately shut down for use for the season which was disappointing and surprised since it was still going into the 40s in temperature at night.

  : Noisy. I had asked for a quiet room but was placed under incredibly noisy people. Had to change rooms, then it was great
