  : The location was great. Close to the beach and downtown Charleston.
  : The hotel was not well maintained and the rooms were not clean. The staff was VERY hard to reach. After arriving at the property we noticed our air was not working. We tried to call the front desk numerous times and ended up walking back downstairs to wait in a line to get some help. After speaking with the desk they stated they were sending someone up. We went upstairs and waited again….after 30 minutes we tried to call the front desk to see how long it would be. No answer. It is now 10:30 pm and we have two children we are trying to get into bed. We walked back down to the front desk, waited in another line, only to be told we could move rooms. We went back up, packed up all of our stuff again and moved. The second room we were placed in had water stains on the ceiling that were turning brown. We were not sure if it was mold or mildew. The entire stay we were unable to get anyone to answer the phone and had to walk downstairs each time we needed something as simple as toilet paper. We usually have very little complaints about anywhere we stay, but I would not recommend this property. There needs to be a lot of updating and professional training for the staff.
