  : Hôtel and facilities were spotless, staff & cleaning staff were friendly & helpful.Nice little breakfast with fresh coffee, pastries & Orange juice, plus there were tea & coffee facilities in the room.Loved our room with a view, and it was pretty quiet too…great location. We would definitely go back!
  : Bed could have been a little comfier, maybe an iron & board in the room.

  : My husband and I spent three nights at Hotel MacRae which was wonderful!! The hotel is in a PRIME location, right in the center of town, which was great, close to everything! You walk out of the hotel and you're right on the beach! Our room, although small, was quiet, very clean and comfortable! Without asking, our room was cleaned up daily by the professional maids and it was a pleasure to return to a room "put together." The staff was extremely helpful! There are twenty five steps to climb up to, which we were able to do(even though we're seniors)! The bathroom is small, but the shower was fantastic!! It was nice that there was coffee, juice and pastries for a light breakfast, but it shouldn't be advertised as a "continental breakfast." A true continental breakfast has fruit and cereals. Overall, we loved our stay at the hotel and would return!!!!Remember, it is the oldest hotel in Avalon!

  : Great location at Beachfront. Very friendly and helpful staff. Newly refurbished. Comfortable beds and appreciated having air conditioning since the days were warm. Mornings provided freshly baked muffins and juice.
