I would rate the hotel a three— the room was nice, but the staff, particularly Alan who was front desk overnight said some things to me which seemed assumptive, intrusive, rude, and almost suggestive.I heard incredibly concerning conversations, whether from a movie or from guests, in the adjacent rooms at all hours of the night, as well as an incredibly grating high pitched noise from the air conditioning unit of the neighboring room. I felt insulted, at times unsafe, and unheard by the staff member to whom I addressed this with the following morning. To be quite frank, I would like my money back for my second night in an ideal scenario. My opinion of this establishment is much lower after this experience, especially since I used emergency funds to acquire this room during a time of continued familial and health instability causing near homelessness. I am not pleased.I also find it very concerning that I received TWO cancellation emails regarding my stay-over booking of the second night (12-13 July) during the in person reservation process. Credit card authorizations typically pend for 3-5 working days at the least— the fact that this could have caused hundreds of dollars of inconveniently set aside funds adds further disappointment with my stay. Overall, I enjoy the establishment but this night was a nightmare.
