  : The bed and pillows were comfortable, but I expect no less from a Marriott. The room had a nice view also. The restaurant and gym were terrific.
  : One day our room wasn't serviced, and I had to call down for toilet paper so we didn't run out. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the accessible bathroom were too high to reach from the seat (so people who can't stand or pivot can't reach them). The first morning, there was only decaf for the in-room coffee maker. We had driven from DC, but with the time change flying in slept past 10 when the hotel breakfast stops. Norfolk had NOTHING open within walking distance before noon on a Monday. Half-way through our stay, a guest spilled M&Ms in the elevator. There was still one 3-4 days later in the elevator lobby of the 15th floor when we left.

  : The tubs are not clean and the water sits in the shower while showering, the elevators smell like urine! Needs lots of updates!

  : I found the bed and pillows very comfortable, but I expect no less from Marriott. Breakfast was over by 10 am, and with the time change we didn't wake much before then. Good luck finding breakfast outside the hotel, especially on a Monday or Tuesday. The hotel advertised room service, but doesn't deliver. At the time of this writing, I am still waiting for a carafe of coffee I ordered 6 days ago. Staff were all courteous. The gym was good. The restaurant was excellent.

There is supposedly coffee in the rooms (remember this is the place where breakfast stopped at 10, no room service and no other restaurants open before noon on Monday or Tuesday within walking distance) and there was only decaf for the in-room coffee maker. Serious lineup for check-in and check-out

  : The facility was nice. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated.
  : The escalator did not work on the down side which caused everyone to use the elevators. It got a little crowded.The parking was a little difficult for seniors with health problems. But valet parking was available but a little pricey.

  : Great location and easy to book last minute. Pleasant staff throughout and affordable parking literally next door.
  : Sofa in the room in need of a deep clean as well as elevators; price was super high for just one night and breakfast was disappointing plus the breakfast room needs to be cleaned properly i.e., floors, chairs, etc. Made-to-order omelette was lovely but the rest of breakfast disappointing, cold when foods should be hot and stale breads/pastries. For the price really expected a different experience. For these reasons I would not book here again and I’m a Marriott member.
