Disappointing

  : Location was good. I also liked that I could control the room temperature myself.
  : I thought the pet friendly option was sweet, but then having a dog in the opposite room bark all night was painful. I barely got any sleep the 2 nights I was there, even with ear plugs on. Same neighbors also ended up smoking weed which wafted into my room from evening into the night ( no offense to any smokers, but I detest the smell of tobacco/weed). There was a lot of banging and slamming. I couldn't figure out if it was above, below or besides my room. The room and sheets didn't smell too good - musty smell. It didn't look clean either, but I packed all my sanitizing sprays, so that was reassuring. For the cost, I was disappointed overall

  : This hotel was clean and the room looked recently refurbished. Overall all I needed was a place to sleep for the night. The bed was comfortable, but a little lumpy. The TV worked well and the fridge in the room was a nice bonus. I a pinch I would stay here again, but overall I would probably make another choice because I could get better value for the price at one of the many other hotels in the area.
  : The bathroom was very small, and there were some small finish issues with the room overall, like some strange paint splotches on the wall. As I mentioned above the bed was a little lumpy. The front facade was a little dated.

  : Clean. Great location to Newport mansions. Mattress was encased to help prevent bedbugs. Bed was comfortable. Nightlight in the bathroom was a nice touch.
  : No elevator. Tight bathroom - door did not completely open due to toilet being in the way. Several times bathroom was warmer than the rest of the room; heat was felt coming through the bathroom vent with food smells. Is on a very busy street.

  : Room was impressive! The pics on the website looked good but I was not sure what the room would look like in person. Spacious, clean room with clean, nice looking, comfortable bedding. Staff was friendly. Decent continental breakfast, although if you are big on breakfast you may have to find another option. Close to Newport downtown. Across street from grocery store and close to many restaurants and other conveniences. Similar hotels in the area I looked at did not have 2 queen beds at that time, only king with a sleeper sofa so I chose Red Roof and glad that the room was exactly as pictured on the website.
  : For a budget hotel it was pricey at over $300 a night although it was competitive with similar hotels in the area. Bathroom was on the smaller side but still sufficient, only it would get really foggy so there wasn't good exhaust/ventilation. The outside of the hotel building was not much to look at but that was not important to us.

  : It was average.
  : Check in time. I asked for early checkin but this was not passed on correctly for the room was not ready when I arrived at 1:30 PM.

  : It was clean, quiet and friendly staff. Nice, clean swimming pool. Best of all, it was reasonably priced. Will definitely use on our next trip to Rhode Island.
