Pescado Penthouse On Duval

Wonderful

: The place is centrally located in the mid of the town. Everything was nearby. At night you can enjoy a lot of activities in the area.
: The only issue we had was with the internet. There was no Internet/Wifi connection.

: Got this booked last minute for fantasy fest, so paid way more than I would have normally. The space was small but adequate. Facilities were acceptable. Would not recommend for more than 2 people or a long term stay. Hosts were in touch and accomodating.
: TV could only tume to one channel. No can opener in kitchen.

: It was a decent location. I felt like a lot was within walking distance. Inside the room was clean and just fine. Nothing fancy. Nothing special.
: It was unclear that the location is above a place of business. It was mostly just fine.

Disappointing

  : location and cleanliness
: The property misleads you with their pictures. They have photos that show a street side balcony when in reality it was a two window room in the back of the house. The parking is misleading as well , there is no guarantee of parking and the parking is 5 dollars an hour / 10 hr minimum. That means you have to go feed a meter every 10 hours. For two days it will coast you 240 dollars in parking. The bed was terrible, just a mattress thrown on a piece of plywood, it was horrible, the windows were broke and stuck in the open position, they were even marked as broke. this made the room very noisy at night and with a freak cold front it was horrible , it got down to 57 in the room as it had no heat. We called to complain to the staff but there is no staff local. They are based in Portland OR so it took 18 hrs for them to finally send a guy with some duct tape to tape up the windows. This was a very disappointing stay and I really feel I was taken advantage of.

: The room was clean, cool and comfortable.
: The amount of emails, phone calls and texts received prior to, during and after the stay.

: Location very convenient. And on the quieterend of Duval. The bathroom was modern and good water pressure.
: It is smaller than the photos suggest. Really only room to walk around the bed. The air conditioner was not on when we arrived and it was quite warm. There were no instructions for it, we called and the rep tried to help but ended up sending us to internet. The AC unit was small and took about an 10 hours until the room was comfortably cool. After that we left it on and it was fine.

: It's an efficiency apartment that was nicely done. Customer service was very friendly and helpful, without having to wait on hold. This section of Duval St. Was close to everything without being amid the noise of the party.
: They don't supply any toiletries of any kind. They should have a printed key code available in the room to take with you. Our phone died and we had to call customer service to get back in our room.
