  : I attempted to cancel my reservation 40 minutes after making it because I got the dates wrong of when I needed to go to Florence to help my grandfather with his chemotherapy. The vacation rental company denied me. I asked to speak to the owner of the home to explain my situation. The owner also denied me. I made an extra trip to the coast just to utilize my vacation rental only to find it was already occupied because the company overbooked. I am disappointed in the rental company as well as the owner of the home. Being a good person gets you farther in life and karma always comes around.

  : It was aesthetically pleasing. Clean inside. The couch was comfortable
  : Long story short, the primary key was lost on the beach. The backup key they provided did not fit the lock. I was locked out, with all of my belongings (including ID, credit cards, ect) inside. Customer service was aware of this and the fact that I had no access to a vehicle in a town without cabs/ride share and basically told me to wait to hear from local management who they could not get ahold of. It was 8pm, pitch black outside and 45 degrees. I sat on the doorstep for close to two hours waiting to hear back. I messaged the company again and was met with someone will contact you and you shall be charged for the lost key. I had to walk to the closest hotel and have my husband set up arrangements for me to stay the night from two time zones away since I had no way to pay or any identification with me. I did not hear back from the local management for 13 hours. THIRTEEN HOURS. When they did arrive to the property at 9:30am the next day, the two keys they had also did not fit the lock. It took 35+ minutes, a drill and the maintenance man having to YouTube how to drill a lock to finally get me in and get me access to my belongings which I then had to carry back to the hotel, with zero offer of help or apology. They immediately left to go buy a new lock so they could get the next guest in for the day check in for them wasnt for another 6 hours. I havent heard ANYTHING from VACASA since. Other than automated text messages telling me they hope o enjoyed my stay and asking me to rate my stay. No talk of reimbursement or apology.

  : Location, style of the little shed/cottage, cozy and love that it is pet friendly without any extra fees. Had everything you need for a little cozy place.
  : Cleaning fee was high, need another curtain for the other window because the neighbor leaves a bright light on all night. Check in time sooner than 4pm and check out time to be a little bit later like, 11am-1pm.
