  : The restaurant was convenient.
  : Advertised that room was ADA, it was not. The kitchen needs a small table as there is no place to prepare food. There was no entertainment in the restaurant as advertised. Price was too high for the facility.

  : The location was great.
  : We booked this property to be closer to Yellowstone. Our second day we had to request more toilet paper. Walking into the office there was no one there but they are open until 8. I pushed the ring doorbell and after a few minutes a woman answered, I let her know we were staying in a room and needed a roll of toilet paper. She sounded irritated and let me know someone would be down. After several minutes a man drove from across the street and walked in. He walked past my wife and said don’t bring that bear spray in here (we had just returned from Yellowstone so she had it clipped on her belt). He came back with the toilet paper and proceeded to question her on if she’s seen it go off, even after she answered him. He came off rude and was very abrupt. He let us know they had a customer whose bear spray went off in their restaurant. He then said don’t take that bear spray in my room. Nowhere in the rules or signage did it say anything about having bear spray in their room or property. I again read through the rules once we got to the room and found nothing. Considering they have people staying who are headed to Yellowstone he should have some rules posted if that’s not allowed. Not sure if he was annoyed he had to come give us toilet paper or if it was because we are a same-sex couple, it was rude. Had he been polite and informative rather than questioning he may not have come across the same way. We have stayed in Cody before and have had exceptional service, moving forward we will take the service over convenience of being closer to Yellowstone.

  : Room was spacious and clean.
  : Please be aware they automatically charge an early check-in if you arrive before 4pm ($25+taxes). We came by earlier and inquired if the room was ready so we could leave our luggage before driving through to Yellowstone. We were simply given the key without mentioning any extra costs. A few days later I noticed an extra charge on our credit card. They refer to an automatic email through booking where this extra charge is mentioned. At least they should have told us on arrival. For us there is a difference between asking an early check-in before arrival and checking in early because the room is already available. This is the only accomodation on our 6 week road trip that charged this. Others were just happy to give us the key before official check-in time!

  : Quiet, close to Yellowstone, good food in restaurant, nice staff.
  : Drains were clogged and wifi was spotty at best. Rooms are small but adequate. A hand rail by the porch stairs is needed. In all fairness, we were only there 2 nights so we didn't alert staff to the issues. They were helpful and probably would have addressed them.

  : Shower was not working properly when arrived. Owner took care of problem next morning.
