  : This hotel is so beautiful. We visited Chicago for the first time for my father’s 60th bday, his dream was to go to a game at Wrigley so we made it happen! Since none of us had ever been. We talked to all kinds of friends/coworkers and everyone said to stay at Navy pier and I see why. The pier has SO much stuff going on it was kind of amazing. Back to the property tho: ERNEST IS OUR GUY!! He’s the head bellhop, an extremely personable individual and great at his job! He helped us with our luggage after we got dropped at the front of navy pier (the hotel is a country mile walk located at the end of the pier
  : Check in staff member “Maria”She seemed to be a relatively young staff member. My fiancé and I arrived at the property first and I booked the entire trip for us. I assumed since my credit card was on file and the rooms being under my name I could check all of us in. It was about 2:30 when we arrived. Maria proceeded to tell me that each of the room occupants had to be present to check in. Okay, fine. We’ll just check in for our our room. She then told us that it would an extra $50 to check in early (check is ant 4) and asks if want to accept the charge. I hesitated for a sec and looked back to the my fiancé to see if he wanted to. He shrugged like “okay” so I said “okay” and as I responded she adds “IF we have any rooms available right now”. She’s looking and I’m speaking with my fiancé now like “okay, I guess it doesn’t make sense for us to check our bags for like an hour just to avoid the extra charge. But I guess that’s only even if they have rooms available” and I hear an “excuse me??” in a tone that screamed “are you talking about me?” So we stop talking and then our attention back to Maria like ??? She goes “did you want to accept the extra charge” with this weird look on her face and attitude in her tone. I told her I did and that while she was “looking for availability” I was explaining to my fiancé what she’d just told me. We clearly weren’t speaking to her. What got me at that point is she procedes to say “I’m JUST ASKING. If i did something to offend you, I’m sorry” like she didn’t just rudely question me on something we’d already answered her on. Even my fiancé was like “y’all gunna go duke it out in the parking lot? Wtf was her problem?”Customer service 101: deescalation techniques. Maybe she was having a bad day, but Baby girl needs some training.

  : The view! My gosh it was so perfect watching all the boats from the window. Loved the location. Room was spectacular, staff was great. Would recommend for a weekend away. We really liked that you needed to use the key card at all times to get to the rooms.
  : The beds were very uncomfortable. I didn't like the fact I had the do not disturb sign hanging from the doorknob and they cleaned the room anyway. We never get room cleaning when we travel and I wasn't asked about it at check in. Room was not ready when we got there. No problem, they said they'd call/text when it was. We did not get any notification when it was. We had to ask at the front desk ourselves.

  : The location of the Sable was excellent, providing convenient access to several events throughout the city of Chicago.
  : I recently stayed at the Sable and had a mixed experience. On the first day, I had to change rooms because the A/C in my corner end suite was making a loud noise. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the A/C filter hadn't been changed in some time. Maintenance changed the filter and made some adjustments, but the problem persisted. After much discussion, we were moved to a standard room. The new room was quiet and clean, and I appreciated that my bill was adjusted with a discount for the first night. Overall, the Sable is a beautiful property with much to offer its guests.

  : The parking is extra for $72, for overnight;No breakfast included in the expensive room price of $350; Basic facilities of micro wave or drinking water options ..It’s not worth the price

  : Very nice view to the pier but no swimming pool and way to pricey for not having a swimming pool. I think they should rethink their $$$ rates. We could have been closer to the pier for 1/2 of the prince and still see what we want to visit around.
  : Clean, convenient to the pier activities.
