  : Location. Location. Location. For the places we like to go and the things we like to see in this part of the NC mountains, we like having Blowing Rock as our home base. The Homestead is walking distance to everything in BR so having options for shopping, drinking and dining without driving is a big plus. Beds, linens and pillows are all satisfying. Fireplace in room is a great touch. Keurig, jet tub, ceiling fan, AC window unit, flat screen Spectrum service, internet, fridge and microwave in our two-bed room. The room is adequate for two adults. It would be too small and very frustrating for four people with luggage.
  : Parking is tight. We have stayed in three of the rooms and they are either cramped or very cramped. Bathrooms are very small in some of them and ample people will have little wiggle room.

  : Great location for a night in Blowing Rock! Everything is in walking distance from the motel. The bed was very comfortable!
  : I thought it could have been a little bit cleaner. The bathroom definitely could have been cleaner, and the tops of the tables in the room were dusty.

  : Wish there was a breakfast buffet available in the office area. Coffee maker available in the room however along with mini-fridge.
