  : Some of the staff was rude, they acted like I was causing trouble when I asked for help. I changed rooms the first night because the room looked dingy, the next room had a broken refrigerator that I called 3 times in 2 days to fix, the carpet was sticky from not being cleaned, the curtain was broken and I had to clip the curtains closed with one of my clips I had on a business package, the bathroom curtain looked like it had not been washed in a month, I wondered if my sheets were clean. The air conditioning smelled. The bed was completely uncomfortable, I kept rolling off the edge because it was so worn down. My room was upstairs and they had no elevator, so I dragged my luggage up myself, to stairs looked like they needed a good steam cleaning (first sign of lack of regard for their patrons, dirty stairs). I was supposed to stay 3 nights and checked out after night 2 when my refrigerator was still not fixed. I insisted on a discount and they gave me a big discount of $40, I should have insisted on a full refund, but I didn't want any more hassle. Overall, this was the WORST hotel experience I have had for a very very long time. I will not go back to the Best Western in Yreka, and honestly, will hesitate to ever stay at a Best Western again.

  : The staff that "served" us was unfriendly and seemed totally uninterested in us or their jobs. I had booked 2 rooms through booking. com, but the Miners Inn only reserved 1 room on their end.

  : The room was clean, the bed & bedding were good, the location was perfect considering the mileage I'd driven that day (and the preceding 6 days). The room's lighting and furnishings were good. The room's size was surprisingly large.
  : The room's door was not closed when I arrived. The toilet seat was missing one of its two fasteners, and the other one was loose. The TV did not work. The check-in featured a perfunctory explanation of the room's location, wifi login, etc, from a robotic clerk. When I went back to the office to talk about the TV problem, I was told they knew about it, that they were in the process of replacing that problematic brand of TV, and that I should "jiggle" the controls on the side of the TV and ignore the remote. That didn't work, and the only way to shut the TV off was to unplug it.

  : When we arrived on the day of check-in, well after check-in time, the front desk employee had informed me that our room was not clean yet and to give him 10 minutes. I came back in 10 minutes (knowing that 10 minutes is not enough time to clean a room anyway) and the employee informed me that they do not have a room available for us. This was a stressful situation for us because we booked this room in advance because we are from out of state. Trying to find a room last minute with a toddler was not fun and expensive.

  : We booked through Booking.com on the road and used our credit card got charged for the room BAD Mistake Got a confirmation all was well. Welcome! Got to property and were informed there was NO room Teri said we should have called them directlywe needed to dispute with Bookings.com Teri said that Booking.com didnt have correct info WHOSE FAULT IS THAT? THE Best Western Their sold out parking lot was EMPTY Obviously this property wasnt releasing rooms due to low staffing SO WE WENT UP THE ROAD TO THE HOLIDAY INN Amazing, clean and great breakfast WE ARE DISPUTING THE CHARGE TO OUR CREDIT CARD Do not use this property!!!!

  : This is a clean and roomy property at a fabulous location for a great value. Our room was very clean and we enjoy the charm of the decor. We had a great nights sleep, as it was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. We had a great breakfast and fresh hot coffee before leaving. We stayed there previously and had a great experience and definitely will stay again. We wouldnt stay anywhere else in Yreka.

  : The location was nice and the breakfast was good.
  : Two weeks ago we had booked two queen beds for a friend and I, when we got there we had one king and it was not our intention to sleep in the same bed. They were unable to do anything for it so we kept the reservation with the single King. We asked for more pillows we received only one. Then when the morning came around there was only one towel, when we called the desk they said that they would be glad to give us one if we wanted to come up and get them. I replied it's supposed to be in my room and let it go. When I did go to shower they had dispensers in the shower two shampoos and one conditioner. No body soap. We had one small bar to wash our hands and our bodies. Did not win many points there.
