  : Location was perfect - close to everything there is to see and do in Yosemite. Good cooking/BBQ/washing facilities.
  : Bit dated as far as furniture was concerned and the whole place in general needed a bit of TLC. No TV or Internet access. Nylon sheets on the beds which meant LOTS of static and your own light show every time you rolled over in bed.

  : Have everything for cooking (we used outside gas barbecue). The house is huge enough, I would say good even for 6-7 people (there were additional mattresses in a wardrobe). Has a fireplace in the living room, 2 bathrooms.If you book for 2+ days it can be cheaper to do it directly from official Yosemite site;)
  : I suppose that snow chains will be required in snowy days, even in sunny day there were some icy parts of a road. There is no cell signal and internet access at all.

  : The lodge was in the most beautiful position. We even had the joy of seeing a bear and deer stroll by one evening (not at the same time!). It was a homely environment and perfect location to see the sights of the surrounding area - giant sequoias and on another day we did a 3 1/2 hour hike uphill to a fab waterfall that was pointed out to us in the information pack in the lodge - it was a once in a lifetime experience. Upstairs bed was great, my husband and I had the downstairs bedroom. The bed was crazy creaky and not best. However, I couldn't find any other issue with the beautiful lodge.

  : Home was well equipped.
  : Wifi was so far away. The stairs outside were poor lit and very dangerous at night especially after coming back from using wifi at the manager's office. The metal posts around the foot of the bed at the loft was extremely dangerous. Since we are not used to having those, I scrape my right thigh and bled all over. One of the blinds didn't move; so was hard to keep out the sun.

  : The property was very clean. Right in the park very convenient. Spacious enough for four people.
  : Would be nice to have a second bed or bunkbed in the lower level bedroom. A couple of the days it was in the mid 90s it would be nice to have a few more fans available.
