Ft. Wilderness RV Park and Campground

Very Good
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: Close to Cherokee and Bryson City
: Heater did not work well

Pleasant
Traveller Type: Solo Traveler
: it was easy, good location to the Park and inexpensive
: I did not have a toilet in the RV as it had urine in it and was not able to flush, so I did not use the bathroom, I used the bathhouse for restroom and shower needs

Very Poor
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: The pictures were VERY misleading. The absolutely filthiest place we have EVER seen. It definitely should be removed from your list. We walked in and directly out the door. The smell and the filth was beyond imaginable. We are requesting a Full Refund. Being high foliage season it was challenging to find a hotel that was not full.
: Everything. The cabin was rotten wood, needed a complete renovation. The refrig was rusty, the sink at least 39 years old, the bathroom beyond disgusting appearance and smell, a homemade wooden bed frame nailed to the wall with a disgusting mattress. We had brought our linens but I can not imagine anyone staying in such filth for a relaxing vacation. . Five feet between the five cabins. The manager was not available since we arrived 6:15 pm instead of by six. Two of the residences provided us with information to find the cabin. Again I Highly recommend you remove this location from your listing. The entire campground was not well kept with mostly very old campers.
