  : The room was clean and bed were comfortable. Quiet despite beeing close to the highway.
  : When we checked in, the staff asked us to insert our debit card into the terminal so they could process the payment. I signed on the terminal, but the staff said the payment didn't go through. I saw no error message on the terminal, so I logged into my bank account to check the transactions. The amount was reserved on my bank account. The staff insisted that the payment had not gone through, so I had to insert the card again, despite my protests. The second time, he said the payment went through, but now I could see that the same amount had been reserved again. So now it was charged twice.In the morning, I called my bank, which confirmed that two transactions were reserved on my account, and that the fault seemed to lie with the hotel's terminal/bank. My bank couldn't do anything; only the hotel or the hotel's bank could release the reservation. I asked for a statement from the hotel confirming that we had entered the card twice, but the man at the reception, who handled the payment, said he couldn't do that. He just gave me a receipt for the hotel room and said that was the proof. For me, this is truly unacceptable. They were unwilling to help and wouldn't even acknowledge that a mistake had been made. The man at the hotel said it couldn't be resolved because it was a Saturday and that it could take up to a week to be fixed. We had to seek help elsewhere, but then I suddenly saw that the hotel had released the erroneous charge, despite him saying it couldn't be done. It's disappointing when a hotel is unwilling to help and instead shirks its responsibility.I want to warn everyone to be cautious when making payments at this hotel. If you sign and they then say the payment didn't go through, check with your bank. Do not insert your card again without getting a receipt showing the payment didn't go through.

  : The room was clean and the receptionist / caretaker was helpful. The fridge had broken down and he had moved another one into the room for us. The cleanliness of the room really helped because there was not much else good about it. It had a laundry which was helpful but the laundry area was shabby and grubby.
  : The furniture and fittings were mostly tired and shabby. The bathroom was good which was another bonus. The breakfast was meagre - I would not have called it a breakfast.

  : The Rodeway Inn is conveniently located and is easily accessible. The room was clean. Check in was easy.
  : The disinfectant used had a very strong smell. The bed was very uncomfortable.

  : Perfect location for our needs. We also like parking by our room door and having a kitchenette.
  : No complaints. It’s a no-frills place, though.

  : The room was spacious and very clean, the price was excellent and check-in went smoothly. I liked having a kitchen available and having a couch and coffee table in the room went beyond my expectations. The location, near New London, was just what I was looking for.
  : The kitchen window had no curtain, only a blind which let in light all night from the back parking lot. I woke several times in the night, quite sleepy, and thought I had left a light on. I prefer to sleep in the dark. Even the road noise from the highway would not have bothered me if I could have made the room dark.
