  : Staff was top notch: it’s beautiful and the location felt safe for DC and it’s in a great neighborhood. The food and drinks at the restaurant were amazing! I had a lovely street view of Embassy Row ( per my request).
  : The bed was uncomfortable—cheap mattress—you could feel the springs. The pillows were nice. The room was cold—the insulation must be nonexistent. I turned the heat up to 76 to get somewhat warm. It only felt warm while the heat was running. Be prepared—you are in a city so rooms are small, bed is small, bathroom is tiny. No microwave and no mini fridge in your room. It is beautiful, but a little wear on shower curtain and here & there. It is a beautiful, vibrant property with personality.

  : I don’t eat breakfast I am a long time guest at Embassy Row. I am dismayed by the conversation of my hard earned dollars into a currency that can only be spent inside the hotel I.e. the resort fee. There are many excellent bars and restaurants in the DuPont circle area. That’s one of the reasons I choose to stay there. I resent being forced to spend money at the hotel. It’s heavy handed and alienating.

  : we were charged for some stuff we didn’t order, like wallet parking and other weird stuff. guests should be aware and check their bills.

  : The location of this hotel was excellent as we had a wedding to attend at the Anderson House, 1 minute away. The room was comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was pretty small but the shower in the bathtub was great.
  : Our main problem was with the air conditioning - it was so loud when it was running and although we turned the thermostat up to the highest temperature (78 degrees) in an effort to run it as little as possible, it still ran enough to be annoying, even in the middle of the night.Another problem arose when we tried to visit the "coffee shop" for cups of tea at 4pm. The coffee shop turned out to be the bar, and we were told that the person who made the tea wasn't there so we'd have to wait till he got back. Meanwhile, we had a 5pm wedding to attend, so we asked the bar tender for tea. He obliged very reluctantly as if it wasn't his job, which was not very nice for us and afterwards we didn't feel like going back. We breakfasted outside the hotel the next morning instead.
