  : Misleading description of apartment. It was listed as a 2 bedroom but it is in fact a 1 bedroom. What the owners did was remove the living room furniture and install 2 beds. So the living room and kitchen/dining area are all 1 room. That is not a bedroom. A bedroom means a separate room with a door that blocks off from the rest of the space. Also, it was advertised as having a bath (we had a small child and a bath is important), a dishwasher and a parking space. There was not bath or dishwasher. When I phoned the property manager she said there is 2 hour free parking on the street. That doesn't help as I wasn't about to move the car every 2 hours. I had to pay for parking at a public garage 5 minutes away and walk back. Also, the bathroom is in the single bedroom so everyone had to go through that person's room day and night to use the facilities.

  : Loved how close everything was, just a couple blocks to the metro station. The grocery store is around the corner, which is very nice. Plenty of places to eat nearby just down the block. All in all a good stay, if you plan on cooking during your stay the waffle iron is awesome, also be careful with the oven it works very well.
  : I felt the place could use a some maintenance up keep. It probably gets a lot of traffic and makes it hard to get in there to fix things. I would fix the paint that is cracking above the shower, also look into fixing the 2nd door from the hallway thats locked it has a 2in gap from the floor. Also look into replacing the carpet eventually. Other than that this place is awesome.

  : The location was very good, especially as we used public transportation to get everywhere. We walked to Target and the grocery store easily. The staff was friendly and very helpful when we needed them. It had everything we needed and worked perfectly for our familys trip to DC. The shower, in particular, was excellent! We loved eating nearby at The Coupe and Red Rocks Pizza.

  : sketchy main drag down Columbia Heights. Once 30 metres off the street a pleasant neighbourhood.

  : The location was fairly close to a Metro station and shopping area, yet quiet (most of the time, always occasional sirens in a big city.) There was free water bottles in a fridge in the lobby, and there was a first aid kit as well.
  : The bed mattresses were fairly hard. The shower tended to flood the bathroom floor, as the shower curtain was not quite long enough to touch the lip of the stall. The bathroom was inside the smaller sleeping area, which was a problem at night.
