  : Room was great - high quality features like amazing soaker tub, dual shower, and garbage disposal. Bed was comfortable. Location was peaceful and quiet, close to national park, but felt like in the jungle.
  : Breakfast was not good, over priced, and more work than it was worth. Dont waste your money there. Room was dusty and had cobwebs in those hard to reach places like around the bed.

  : we booked specifically because the hula room showed and stated there was a private hot tub. this is a boldface lie, and the complex hot tub has been out of service for two years due to Covid - plenty of time to update the website. we paid $80/ day for breakfast for two adults and two young kids. see what we got. that wasnt worth $20 esp when we dont eat nuts so that basically left us fruit for four people to share?.our room was $759/ night. it wasnt even within 1/2 of that. stay at volcano house or the vrbo with the working hot tub we planned to which WAS the same price.No privacy- can see Thru the window coveringsits filled with Japanese trinkets in reach of a 6 year old we had to pay $200/night for,our two kids to sleep on a futon. so many up charges so not worth it

  : Volcano is fantastic and lotus garden a good base to explore. The owner built a lot himself and the stay is in the middle of lots of green. The cottage is nice but overstuffed with furniture and things and therefore it is hard to move inside. I think the cottage would be much nicer if some of the not essential stuff would be removed. The cleanliness is ok but could be slightly better in and around the house to feel even more comfortable. Also the breakfast piece if the B&B is quite basic. A proper breakfast would add value. Still we enjoyed our stay and those are only little easy fixes to make this a really nice place. The Asian Lotus style is awesome.
