  : Location. It was the same place as the dance competition my children were attending.
  : It was old. Dated. The electric outlets did not all work. The first night we were in a room with an adjoining room. It did not feel secure. A very basic lock that seemed very breakable. The guests next door arrived at 4am and were up for at least an hour. I called the front desk to ask them to be quiet. The phone in the adjoining room did not appear to ever ring. It’s like the guests knew the front desk staff and they were texted and asked to be quiet. We woke up the next morning to no power in our room. I called the front desk and was told there was no one working in that department. The whole point in staying there was so my children could get ready for their competition in our room. We couldn’t do that. I was soon told there was an electrician staying at the hotel and they were going to call and ask him to check my room. I made it clear that if a guest was going to be entering my room I wanted to be present. I also said that I didn’t know what they were going to check. Nothing worked. There was no box in the room to check the breakers. We ended up moving rooms. They moved the cot, fridge and microwave that I had to pay extra for. The outlets in the bathroom did not work in the new room. It should also be noted that the outlets in the dressing room for the competition did not work on the first morning. The hotel clearly cannot accommodate future events without updating resources.
