  : The kitchen closed half an hour earlier than they promised on email. The personnel wasn't helpful at all. They didn't offer any solution for this. Plus, they seemed to give a damn for it. We went to bed without dinner, nor even a piece of bread.

  : Friendly check in. We were upgraded to a much larger room without asking which was wonderful. Clean room, a good night’s sleep. The outdoor pool looked very inviting but we did not use it. Great for a short visit.

  : There was one incident that left a bad taste which they should really think about.This was breakfast. We were almost through with it, and were just about to take our tea/coffee, when this lady came in saying she was going to clear up since "breakfast ends at 10", and that we should help ourselves with whatever we needed. I asked if there was any English breakfast tea available. She said she would check, took away the coffee pot with her without even checking if we wanted any coffee, and simply threw it away! She then came back saying there was no tea. When we asked her about the coffee, she said she had thrown it away, and again said "breakfast ends at 10". So we were left with neither tea or coffee!! We have travelled all over the world, and have stayed at a range of places - from 5 star to modest BnBs- and never have we ever experienced this kind of rudeness before! To take away the coffee from right under our noses while we are still at the breakfast table, and remind us multiple times of the breakfast hours! We understand time limits, but that does not mean you chase away guests that are still at the table, or refuse them a cup of coffee! I would have made a fresh pot of coffee. Thank goodness we were at least spared the humiliation of being asked to leave the breakfast room with our unfinished food because "breakfast ends at 10"!If it hadn't been for this less than pleasant experience, we would not have minded paying the $500, and we could have also overlooked the deficiencies in the accommodation - like the non functional air conditioner in one of the bedrooms, or the absence of the bathroom lock/bolt, or having no drinking water in our rooms. If you really care about improving and making things right, I would strongly recommend treating guests with respect, as well as a lesson or two in hospitality and customer service.

  : What breakfast? My boyfriend went to the area where the said breakfast was supposed to be, which I believe was the game room. What he found were a couple of plastic dispensers of cereal, a small keurig to make yourself coffee, some salt & sugar packets & a couple of tiny vanilla yogurts & that was it, nothing else.
  : A real continental breakfast , which was andvertised and an Iron in the room.

  : The place is very clean and the room was fine. The room had a wood burning fireplace and the hotel provided wood outside the door. The hotel is dog friendly which was a plus. It is not a luxurious place but very functional and satisfactory.
  : Unfortunately the pub was not open when we went. But the management made us aware ahead of time so we made alternative plans.
