  : The windows were big and let in a lot of sunlight. The bedrooms got a lot of direct sunlight in the morning. The couch was comfortable. The place was very spacious. The guest house is just a 3 or 4 minute drive to the Alaska Sealife Center and Resurrection Bay.
  : The ceiling of the unit I was in and the floor of the unit above is very thin. I heard every footstep from the 4 or 5 guys staying above me. I took a bath in the bathtub, and the hot water was not very hot at all, more on the warm side. Also, there was no stopper to put over the drain. I had to use a kitchen sink stopper.

  : The owner was very communicative in texts. When the power went out one day, he stopped by and dropped off a battery light for us to use in case the power did not come on. (it eventually did). It's located about a mile from the train depot, and about half a mile from "downtown". We enjoyed having a coffee pot and coffee, and a few random emergency snacks in the cupboards. One night all but 2 restaurants were closed and they were no longer accepting patrons, so we ended up eating microwave popcorn from the cupboards, and tourist smoked salmon we had bought.
  : The only things we did not like were the couches. Not at all comfy (they all had a drink holder/armrest right in the middle and the ones where the leg rest did work, felt very janky. Also the main bed, when one person moved, it moved the whole bed. But other than that everything was great.
