  : I have booked through booking.com for years. The hotel charged my credit card over $1000 (after I paid booking directly). I called it out several times during my stay and was told it’s just pending and the pending charge will go away once we check out. The day of checkout the money was removed from my account. I finally got another staff member on the phone who stated my credit card never should have been used and refunded me, but now I’m waiting 7-10 days for $1000 refund to process from the hotel.

  : The Hotel is in a great location! Walking distance to the Sault Locks, shops and restaurants. The room also had a good view.
  : The hotel wasn’t as clean as I expected or would have wanted it to be. The carpet on the stairs had stains, the lobby needed to be mopped. The room wasn’t very clean either. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed, there was hair and dirt on the bathroom floor, it didn’t seem like the shower had been cleaned either and a previous occupants towel on the back of the door. The toilet consistently made dripping sounds and the seat was loose. The bed was clean and comfortable. Overall I was disappointed and thought it was overpriced and under cleaned. I was not asked how my stay was when I checked out so I didn’t mention the cleanliness to the desk staff. Looking back I should have requested a different, cleaner room.
