  : Great location, kitchen and backyard available!
  : Very loud during the night/early morning, very dirty (old water bottles and ear plugs left in the room, linen and towels were stained etc.), the beds were uncomfortable and the other guests were very loud, which made sleeping difficult.

  : The hostel was in a great location in my opinion, it was safe and we were not too far from things we wanted to see. I enjoyed walking to China Town and into Little Italy. We also were not far from California street!
  : There weren't things I didn't like- everything was good. We did not visit the kitchen so I am not sure about that. The rooms were clean, bathrooms were good, maybe the sheets could get upgraded but overall nothing severe.

  : The staff was nice, the bathroom was clean, they have everything well organized in the kitchen.
  : I had to sleep with 6 more people and the man under me (lived there) and had a whole storage of food. He also snored and farted all night, so it was difficult to sleep.

  : Great location, nice four bed female dormitories, and helpful staff. The lobby is very no frills but a good, clean place to crash for the night. And very affordable!
  : You could hear the front door slamming from the first floor but I got used to it and fell asleep fine. You might want to bring ear plugs.

  : Staff doesn’t try to help people, I saw lot of clients complaining there and they just act like robots .The place doesn’t looks like “hostel “ more cheap hotel people go there just to sleep No interaction between people

  : I was a bit worried about staying here as the reviews aren’t amazing. But I was pleasantly surprised. We were in a standard double room on the first floor which was modern and clean, and pretty quiet as well. I can see how some of the rooms would be louder. The location is good, a few blocks away from the tenderloin area which is where things are pretty dodgy but we could walk out of our hotel in the other direction and not be worried. Given high prices in San Francisco I would say this place is value for money.
  : I found the staff pretty miserable to be honest - definitely wasn’t a warm welcome.We also didn’t have house keeping one day even though we were out from 8am to 4pm which I thought was pretty poor.The $20 cash deposit is a bit odd but we got it back so no issue there. The kitchen being closed between 10-11am was pretty inconvenient and it seemed like half of that time was so the staff could use it to cook their own food. We never cooked in the kitchen but it was always I use when went in there. Fridge needed better management as it was stuffed with food and pretty filthy.
