Disappointing

  : The staff was wonderful. The building had a lot of charm and the location was wonderful.
  : The heater in the room only worked when the fireplace light was on. This made sleeping very difficult. The bathroom vents had what appeared to be black mold on the air vents and the TV remote was held together with brittle scotch tape which did not always stay on.

  : Location was amazing. Could walk anywhere in St Michael's easily. Good parking right near hotel. Comfy bed. Staff was pleasant.
  : While we were aware that it was an old hotel when booking, we were surprised by how small and awkward the bathroom was. The ceiling was so low that you needed to contort to use toilet and shower. Since we appeared to be only guests for the 8 room building we were in, we were surprised the staff didn't offer us a better room on a lower floor. We didn't ask for new room, so I guess they assumed we were comfortable.

  : The breakfast was very good and the location was perfect.
  : The hot and cold in the shower was hard to get to a comfortable temperature.

  : Good location. We were given a room in an attic. The sloping ceiling was most awkward, and the bathroom barely acceptable. As older people we had to carry our luggage up 2 flights of narrow stairs, with no offer of assistance
  : A proper bedroom is a bear minimum. An attic room is not acceptable

  : The location was prime! The parking fantastic, our room was great! Loved everything about the old brick inn!
  : Did not have a small, or any fridge, to store leftovers in.

  : Great location! Close to downtown.
  : The front desk staff when I checked in gave very little information. I had to ask where the building was, where to park. All I really got was here is your key, building code and the Wi-Fi password. The bed was very uncomfortable and past its prime. I felt like it had been there since the building. The ice maker was not working. I had no idea till I saw a pile of towels on the counter. I had to fill up the Keurig with water in the morning in the buildings common area but yet everything was pretty stocked so someone just didn't bother. Only one key to the room which made it difficult to come and go because you had to have someone lock the door behind the person leaving or the door would stay open as it only had a deadbolt type lock. No alcohol to be brought on the premises only can buy the stuff they have but no one available after hours to even purchase? Given the price I was expecting better service and accommodations.
