Auntie's House

  : Close beach access
: Dated house and furniture. Questionably clean in some areas. Lots of stairs so not the best fo older folks with mobility issues. I thought there was another entrance.

: The beach was super close which was really nice. We could hear it from the doorstep. After we got everything cleaned and purchased some extra necessities for our stay, The house then was cozy to enjoy, indoors. Still had to be very careful in the backyard where we took the dogs to go potty. Front yard has a slow but by the doorway there were some outdoor chairs that we enjoyed just sitting, drinking, coffee and relaxing.
: Not fully stocked with cooking utensils Not the house was not thoroughly cleaned when it came to linen and pillows. The rugs had wet urine in the main bedroom and different urinated dry spots throughout the rug areas Again, it is possible to the fact that the home itself was cute and cozy after we were able to get ourselves situated.

: The house was cozy and very clean. I was really able to relax. Although it's small, it's quiet and warm.
: The only things to note is the toilet is small for tall people and I would have brought some of my own cookware, knives, and cutting board.

Very Good

: It was quaint and comfortable. A block from beach access. A couple blocks from espresso! We liked the day room.
: It would have been nice to have an extra dish towel and dishwasher soap. We only had one packet and couldn't run the dishwasher when we left. The freezer gasket needs fixed. It comes loose when opening. Back door to BBQ is bent or broken, couldnt get it open.

Poor
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: Plenty of seating and room to spread out for 2 of us
: dirty, poor instructions, lack of supplies... House desperately needs upgrades and maintenance

Pleasant
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
: It was a short walk to the beach.
: The view of the motel in front of the house, the faucet had to be set in a certain position to stop it dripping. And the messages from the host were confusing.

: Great value(;Close to a beautiful stretch of beach!
  : Hard beds

: Close to the beach, the building description was accurate, private parking. We had neighbors but Auntie's is a private location
: Property said it can sleep 6 people. The futon that was meant for two to sleep on was broken, but that is OK we used the mattress and floor. However, there was only one blanket of an acceptable size to use on the futon and we would have had a terrible night of sleep if I did not travel with extra blankets. The kitchen table and chairs are from decades ago and slightly small. The kitchen had an ant problem.
