  : It was definitely not what I expected from the pictures and description. I will never stay in this location again as a solo woman traveler.
  : Exterior of property not well maintained, my room was clean but not nearly as nice as appears in photos. If it wasnt midnight when I checked in, I would have had Uber driver continue to a different, reputable hotel. Felt unsafe, located on a high traffic road, very noisy. Sheets were nubby and not soft, felt very well worn and I slept in my clothes. Hammering outside started at 7:30 am. Will never come here again, and I did not think this was a cheaply priced hotel. Disgusted.

  : The toilet in the bathroom was too low , hard to use, the toilet was too close to the ground, very uncomfortable, hard to get on or off.

  : Great location and price. Extremely clean and comfortable bed. Staff were very kind and responsive. Obviously understaffed however, those on site did everything possible to keep us satisfied. We were impressed by what was a real effort to please.
  : Toilet flush was LOUD! AC was noisey but worked well. Minor issues but affected our stay. Awning was under construction and office was circumspect. Having said that, I would stay again.

  : Room, bedding, and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. American Inn is located halfway between the airport and family I was visiting. The owners were thoughtful and very nice.
  : I think the bath should have a safety bar to assist when getting in and out of the tub.The room was supplied with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 face cloths. I felt the room should have had 4 of each. While the owners were happy to supply extra towels when I asked, I did not like bothering the staff.The photos of the outside of the property on the website do not reflect what the Inn looks like. I do understand the Inn was heavily damaged from recent hurricanes8.
