  : Location and restaurant 13. The ladies running the restaurant were very nice.
  : Air conditioning was extremely noisy so I had to turn if off. Elevators took a long time to arrive in the morning.

  : Proximity to needs. Doctor’s office is literally five minutes away from the hotel. Everything was within walking distance.
  : I have a “germ” phobia. I see what most people do not. With that said; glass, doors, elevators and trash receptacles could have been better attended. The room was sufficient. Lounge chair appeared stained. I placed a towel at the head and over the seat. A couple signs of Housekeeping oversights. Bathroom was nice. Clean for the most part. Visible dirt accumulated in corners by the shower. I was able to speak with a member of hotel management; “Ms. Barbara.” She listened, empathized, showed genuine concern & compassion for my concerns, and for my Son’s wellbeing. She reassured me that my concerns were valid. She took immediate action to address my concern regarding our room maintenance. She is definitely in the right capacity within the Marriott organization.The staff person in the Cafe was also very sweet. Although; the first morning of our stay we got food from there. It was my son’s first time eating food since his surgery. We got breakfast sandwiches; something easy. They were not good, and we both agreed. The pastries had a weird taste? $40 on food that just wasn’t good? We ate at the restaurant “13” Wednesday evening and we couldn’t have been more pleased. From staff to food & atmosphere; a solid 10/10!The Front-desk staff person on the Tuesday morning after we checked in? Her “energy” from the time I walked up to the counter was “snobby.” An “unwillingness to assist vibe.” I made the reservation through Booking.com. Instead of assisting me with extending my stay; she directed me back to Booking.com. She offered no explanation as to the “third-party” reservation protocols the way the other Rep(Emily) was happy to explain. Front-desk associate Emily was very helpful. She exceeded my Customer Service expectations, and she was personable and friendly, unlike the other Associate 5ft away. For the amount of money this stay is costing; I still only expect for people to do their jobs. I’m paying almost $400.
