  : The location of the hotel is quite good and the exteriors are quite beautiful but that's really the only positive thing. The welcome on arrival was pleasant.
  : What to say? The hotel is very dated and completely outdated by today's standards. The aperitif meal on arrival and the breakfast do not correspond at all to the photos. The bread is stale, hard and there isn't even a spatula to take the bread. We had to beg for scrambled eggs, which ended up being dry. No ham, no bacon, no yogurt... In the room, everything is old. It looks like a nursing home room with a spa bath right in the middle. The heating sounds like a lawnmower, which prevents you from sleeping. Honestly it's not even worth half the price. And I miss the lack of courtesy and smile from the breakfast person. If you can, spend your $300 on a better hotel.

  : The staff was friendly, the place was charming and cozy. The bed was really comfortable and the house was quiet even though it's on the main road.
  : The problems are small and might not bother everybody - There was an AC and a ceiling fan in the room which was nice and cool, however, both were noisy. The curtains did not cover the enitre window and there was light in the room - which might not be a problem for everyone but for me, together with the noisy AC, did not allow a good sleep. Overall the facilities were great and the staff was kind, which made the whole experience positive.

  : Nice location, despite still being 30+ minutes from Yosemite gates. For the most part clean and well kept.
  : Overall not a bad place but not at all worth the price they are asking. We were placed in what essentially amounted to the basement. It was dark with only one small window. Though the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom looked like it had been transplanted from the 80's - a tiny bath wedged in with a toilet into a tiny room. We did have a jacuzzi in the main room but would have taken hours to fill. A pointless frill. The breakfast and afternoon wine reception was really hyped, but I found the food and preparation middling at best. Cold cuts and pepper jack cheese at the reception and warmed up frozen pastries for breakfast. Milk curdled when I added it to my tea. It was all the little details that really made the difference. And it is the details that define a high end experience that Houndstooth is presenting it's self as. But it is in the details that it fails miserably. At $500+/night I expect food, service, and the room to be top notch, crisp, attentive. Really the whole experience felt like a redneck's idea of luxury rather than curated by an experienced refined eye.

  : We were well looked after by Tammi on reception and Carlos the breakfast chef. Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed and great bathtub.
  : Disappointed to find that there was no wine available for the daily cheese and wine as advertised on the hotel’s own website.We were very annoyed with someone (not a guest) turning up c5.50am each morning and leaving the engine running underneath our window, not in a parking space, and revving the engine and zooming off. We complained on the 2nd morning at 5.55am but no apology or explanation was offered at the time or later.

  : A little out of town Oakhurst but slightly closer to Yosemite NP. Room 11 good size with spa bath. Breakfasts provided and afternoon nibbles with sparkling water. Easy parking. Friendly staff. Lovely property.

  : The Inn is a beautiful luxurious hotel, where to owners managed to create a ‘home’ for their guests.

  : No elevator.Photos are better than the room in the reality.Requires renovation, especially bathroom and shower.No soundproof. Room had a shared door with adjacent suit.Breakfast scale can't satisfy all visitors. We were waiting for pancakes for 10 mins and when arrived they end up instantly.
