Comfort Inn N Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing

Very Poor

: The location of the hotel and the pool was clean.
: The room (and the hotel) needs a MAJOR upgrade!! The carpet was dirty and stained in at least a dozen places in the room we stayed in. Filthy is a better word. The sheets/bedding had so much starch in them that they itched every time we laid under them. The AC didn’t work properly. The tub was disgusting! It was pealing and rusting. At first glance, we thought the rust was blood. You can only imagine how we felt when we first saw it! The second floor hallway was only vacuumed once the entire four days we were there. Trash in the hallway was walked over by staff daily. This hotel use to be a Super 8. It was always an older hotel, but it was taken care of. Now, since it’s a Comfort Inn, and under different management, it’s been let go. We were so worried about bed bugs, but thank the Lord we didn’t see any!

: The breakfast was good overall. I would say it was comparable to a 3 1/2 to 4 star rating.
: The satellite signal kept freezing up/fading out, even in good weather. That was annoying, but that's the only negative comment I have.
