  : Instructions called for quiet time from 10 pm until 8 am. We received an e-mail on October 13, that we had been too noisy. We had a friend over and were laughing, that was between 4:30 pm and 5pm on Wednesday, October 12. We feel that this was totally uncalled for. We were on vacation and in New Orleans where people are having a good time and this was in the middle of the afternoon! On the other hand, on Saturday night there was an altercation between a woman and man after midnight yelling and screaming for over one hour. We had to listen to this mess and had our sleep interrupted, since there was no front desk or clerk to report it to.The front door and the hallway doors are way too noisy and reminded us of a prison. May be greasing them would eliminate the horrible screeching noise.

  : So much space! A quiet apartment, well positioned away from the noise and hubbub of the French Quarter but near enough to walk everywhere to access tours and attractions. Clean and well stocked with nearly everything someone self-catering would wish. The provision of tea and coffee was a bonus together with soaps and other refinements to start. A 15 minute walk to a fantastic supermarket (Rouses) which was almost on a par with the UK Waitrose/Booths. I would recommend this apartment highly and would certainly use it again.
  : Booking.Com! I could not get the TV to work as described in the user guide. I contacted Booking.Com to seek assistance but never received a reply and made do with viewing my laptop. However, when I contacted Booking.Com again to ask for 30-60 minutes extra time to vacate the apartment, to coincide with my taxi's arrival, they came back within a nanosecond charging $30 for the pleasure. After spending nearly $1200 for the stay I was disappointed (and somewhat bemused as the policy of most hotels is that checkout is 12 noon rather than 11am and even then there is some flexibility) - I'm assuming this had nothing to do with the wishes of the owner? They may wish to comment?My stay would've benefitted from the following:-Essential: A bathplug.Desirable: Oven gloves, an ovenproof dish or something flat to use for heating food, wine glasses and a tea towel.
