  : The location was perfect for the purpose of this trip.
  : The overall property is not well maintained or clean both inside and out. There is an old musty and stale cigarette smoke scent in the air all the time especially with the HVAC fan running. The refrigerator was not clean and smelled of rotten food. Old food , beverages and ice was left behind and the fridge not useable. The host offered up the opened food and beverages during our stay, yuck! There are dirty hot pads in the drawer, an old stinky sponge on the sink and a dirty sink brush left out on the cabinet. The furniture is in various stages of disrepair; near broken dining chairs, the leatherette has been worn off the headrests and armrests of upstairs easy chairs. The frame/platform for one of the beds was removed (previously in photos of property) and the mattress placed on the floor. The host mentioned that the carpet had been recently shampooed, but was in need of thorough vacuuming. There was a steady stream of visiting black ants mostly upstairs in the sitting/dining room and kitchen. The patio furniture was not neatly placed and wet/dirty clothes were left on the patio. The bathroom was recently remodeled, the host provided clean white towels and the water ran hot. A few Tide pods were left to allow for a load of washing to be done in the newer set of machines. The host was attentive with regard to setting the room temperature and resetting the house alarm upon arrival. I was very disappointed by this accommodation and for the weekly price, not what was expected AT ALL and what I have come to expect as a Genius visitor from Booking.com
