: Bed was comfortable and room was really clean
: I was really upset that I called for late check in because I had an event, upon arrival I was told my room I paid for was cancelled, without a call or notice. That was really unprofessional and then on top of everything the employee on duty was disrespectful saying I didn’t call and that I have no proof of that conversation. I almost flipped. I was very disappointed about the customer service that was provided.

: No free parking provided, either have to meter park on street or pay at a local parking garage rates vary like crazy, the hotel provides a parking garage pass for a daily rate if they have any left.

: We had a two night stay which was ok. They do a great job on the website with their photos etc. The King room we had wasn’t anywhere near the photos. The location was nice. We could walk anywhere we needed to. Our room was at the top of the stairs so we could hear any and everything all night. Check in was pretty easy and was shocked when I was told to park 2 blocks away in the public garage. The hotel itself has no parking and the garage they have a deal with charges $35 per 24/hrs and a refundable $50 deposit to be able to go in and out of the garage at your leisure. I never got a pass and actually ended up saving by parking in the 7th street garage. It was $15 per 24hrs. You could not leave the garage however or you’d have to pay and get a new ticket when you re-enter. I was also shocked when I was asked for a credit card for a $200 room deposit (refundable) but was totally unaware of it. I prepaid when I booked and there was no mention of this deposit. I booked via booking.com. Don’t order breakfast at the hotel. Go literally next door to Cafe Bastille where they do breakfast and brunch all day! It’s absolutely amazing! You also get a discount if you tell them you’re staying at FBH.
