  : Came here for the auction. Checking in was great, I was later than expected but, the host was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Stayed in the Gator bait room, coming from Massachusetts I'll say that name is appropriate and made complete sense to me. My imagination got the best of me at times, in a good way. Your surrounded by water and I love the floating dock. Great seating areas outback, nice new pitboss grills that are loaded up with wood pellets and placed under nice canopies, bgreat seating, as well as chopped wood and a fire pit. Very relaxing, I enjoyed the sound the water fountain made, very ASMR, sounds like heavy down pouring rain and it helped me fall asleep in no time.The room is small but efficient, very old school and feels cozy to me, it brings back memories of visiting family up in the white mountains, there was no heat though, unless I missed it. We did actually shiver and freeze at night and throughout the morning, temps were low 40s, were from Mass but we still froze our butts off, it did made us snuggle for warmth so it's cool. My husband really enjoyed the bed and slept well. I'm surprised because that never happens his back is always hurting. We have a $4g purple bed at home and he hates it. Don't open the beauro draws though, to put anything, don't! Think Pandoras box but filled with MUSTY odor instead. But at this price and the atmosphere it was totally worth it and I would definitely return again and again here, it hits the spot for me

  : The cabin was next to the outlet river and an additional pond on the property. I was able to enjoy the river and the numerous birds that came to feed, and watch (through the trees along the river, the various boats traveling toward Lake Panasoffkee. In the month that I stayed there, only a couple of boats were very loud. Most were slow and quiet. The cabin itself is small - one bedroom with a queen size bed, plus two bunks in a nook across from the kitchen area, and a foldout futon in the front room. I liked the screened-in porch where I could sit and watch the birds and the boats. It was quiet and private. It is a family-run place, and they are very helpful and pleasant.
