  : I didn't like anything. I stayed 1 night and left.
  : Everything. The location is horrible. The room is horrible. They wouldn't give me a refund. There was no air conditioning. The coffee pot didn't work. They wanted you to use appliances that were outside and did not look clean.

  : Excellent location. Close to everything. The room is small and done on a shoestring budget. But good for budget travelers. We loved the deck. We rested on the deck and watched a beautiful sunset.
  : The room is kind of isolated and in the middle of a jungle garden. There are all kinds of birds and small animals around. If you are a light sleeper the exotic frog call for the company would keep you up most of the night. But if you are a sound sleeper and a nature person, you would love it.

  : There was a big TV, but I couldnt watch it as there was no internet or Netflix available.
  : There was no Internet, therefore no TV. It wasnt clean. There was no space available to unpack anything. The facilities were riddled with ants and bugs so everything, even medication had to be kept in the refrigerator, and even so, the ants were in your bed at night. I was expected to pay an additional cleaning fee of $117.00 but my room was never cleaned and I was there for 2 weeks. I was told the cleaning fee was not for cleaning the room, it was for cleaning my linen when I left. The cupboard where the guests were supposed to cook was dirty and the food in it had mites and ants in it, as were the oven and microwave.

  : We stayed for 8 nights in the Whale room with a direct view of the ocean and absolutely gorgeous sunset views. This simple room was not fancy but fit exactly what we were looking for - a private, clean, quiet space where we could hang out and use it as our home base for touring the rest of the island. We had fresh papaya, passion fruit, and bananas directly from trees onsite as well as Kona coffee and other breakfast items available in a cabinet on the balcony. We asked for a hot plate to cook some food in our "kitchen" area. Cute gecko chirps could be heard in the evening. A couple of us didn't want to travel around the island one day and just wanted to rest in the room all day - it was that comfortable. Everyone was super nice and - when one of us had a medical issue - the concern and attempts to help were very much appreciated.
  : I thought a sign at the front driveway would have helped us find the place easier when we first got there. We just were not sure if the building was supposed to be the Guest House or not. Parking was kind of tight though easy. I recommend painting lines so people know where to park. Some other recommendations include (1) having a notebook for guests to provide their notes/comments to future guests. I've seen this when traveling in other countries... may be fun/useful here (2) Maybe a few board games (3) a flyer to provide guests when they arrive describing amenities, contact phone numbers, who to contact, places within walking distance, recommended places to eat, and how to schedule a massage.

  : We could not stay overnight the room was so horrendous. The bedding is old and towels stained. Would there be bed bugs??. Smelled. Obviously cat and dog in the property. The photo and description is totally misrepresented the room. Out door kitchen was gross. Very late receiving a door code when acheck in appointment was made. Can not change the door code for individual security. The list could go on and on. DO NOT STAY HERE! Johns no refund policy is a scam so that he does not have to address how awful the property is.

  : This was the dirtiest nastiest place I have ever rented in my 72 years of travel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  : Filthy dirty, filled with bugs spiders cockroaches nasty dirty everywhere!!!!!!!!!! I sent over 20 pictures to the Hawaiian Health department. They are investigating it right now.
