  : They took my money in advance for a 3-night stay and gave away my room even though I made a note on my booking, called ahead, and was told I’d have a room ready. When I attempted to check in, the person on staff told me no one notified her of a late checkin, so my room was given away. Then she turned on her heel and left me standing outside at 3 am with my daughter. When I tried to get a refund the following day, I was told I could cancel for a fee, but would not be refunded for the first night of my booking. This was as per Holiday Inn management. Booking.com did not make things right either. When I tried to deal directly with them, the first customer service rep said I’d be receiving a full refund. The second rep I spoke to would only refund me the difference because Holiday Inn kept the money and penalties for my first night after all. Bad business. Bad experience.

  : That the company would state the booker must stay at least 60 mile or more away to book room.

  : The room was clean and pleasant. There was also a nice breakfast available every morning.
  : My room was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay the first night. However, I requested another room because the occupants next door were smoking weed and the smoke was radiating in my room. I was moved to the first floor. However, I was extremely nervous because someone had left the window in the room unlocked and that particular room was facing a wooded area.
