: 24/7 coffee, & the view was wonderful
: Issue with the room key... Finally changed the battery. Very dated and a little musty smelling. Hot breakfast only on weekends was disappointing. Room charges were different than what was shown when booked.

: Price is better than other "lodges" or hotels in the area, at least that have a bit of a lake view (but it's quite distant and not at all expansive). Comes with breakfast. 3 minute walk to the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds (and the Hamilton Rhododendron Gardens) so you don't have to deal with driving there and trying to find parking. Microwave and mini fridge in all the rooms.
: Dirty rooms, run down property. Room smelled like mildew, shower curtain was full of mold. Shower surround was falling apart...cracked tiles, peeling wallpaper, holes in the wall where they used to have the shower rod. Cockroach in the bathroom at night when I turned the light on (although, this is GA in summer, and it happens). Bed was horribly uncomfortable, hard and lumpy. Also, I paid for a lake/mountain view room and they put me in the very back room on the first floor, where, in order to really see the lake, I had to walk a couple of yards down the grass (although, it's not the greatest view to begin with, from any room). And no, I didn't bring any of this up to staff. Not much they could do in one day since I was only there overnight to see the fireworks.

: proxcimity to Camp Ground where I met with friends
: The bed was hard. Everything needs sprucing up. Breakfast was not very good. No real food. like eggs and bacon.

: Very friendly staff and convenient to beach at the lake, park next door and walking distance, nearby shops and places to eat. Perfect view in room 308 of lake. Wildlife everywhere. We viewed fox and other wildlife from our room.
: Bit dated on blankets, decor, small tv. Missing microwave. Breakfast was bland and needs elevated to warm meals every day. Can't go to the upper deck viewing unless you have a meeting. This should be open to guests. Little smelly in hallways.
