The Harborfront Inn

Very Poor
Traveller Type: young couple
  : Not much
: Do not stay here.Absolutely disgusted. I travel all over the world and this hotel is one of the worst esp for the price. Firstly our room was not harbour view it looked our directly on to a car park. The room was dark and oppressive and I felt claustrophobic because of the darkness and hated being in it. We asked for a room change but was told it would be $50 dollars a day and she was rude (the girl who mostly does mornings). The wardrobe had 1 hanger! So I had to ask for more. No hand soap dispenser in bathroom o had to use the stupid little bottles they give you for shower gel. The breakfast is diabolical. It’s a few things laid out on a bar. Twice they ran out of croissants by 9am and that’s the only thing I liked and you have to eat out of polystyrene boxes or plates! And no tables to eat at! The coffee is bitter and lukewarm. Worst breakfast situation ever. The hotel is overpriced and fake friendly and they charge $25 a day for parking!! And sometimes we come back and there’s no spaces so clearly taking money for parking from too many rooms vs the spaces. Stay somewhere else!!! Due to this i have just requested to check out a day early and have been refused. If the hotel does the right thing and lets he check out with no charge I will remove this review.
