  : The breakfast was amazing! it was better than most restaurants and was a very nice atmosphere!! Sam and Judy were great hosts and made you feel at home. .I would recommend anyone should try the Bookcliffs!!!

  : The place was listed as being in Grand Junction but was in fact 10 miles outside which was inconvenient. It was a unremarkable suburban house that provided little personal privacy for the guest, sharing living room, dining room with family but nice bedroom. Lots of talk about elderly relative and might be OK if you wanted to feel part of a family. I like more privacy. No flexibility about when to have breakfast or what I might like, which did not appeal to me. Hosts were civic as was I, but an experience I would never want to repeat.
  : The listing with Booking said there was no prepayment and I had rights to cancel until 3 days before, yet after I booked the owner immediately charged the full amount and offered no cancellation. I cancelled a week in advance and Booking said to work with them for refund, but when I called the owner she threw insults and hung up on me reusing to talk. Then they wrote to Booking that I was not to be trusted. Booking no help either so reluctantly kept reservation since threat of wildfires had passed. I would avoid booking with them thru Booking as they have a big problem that in all my years using Booking I never encountered. Very unpleasant experience, I don't think Booking should carry them with inaccurate payment and cancellation policies.

  : It was clean. That’s it.
  : The property is advertised as having air conditioning but it does not. When we arrived it was 95 degrees but were told the room would cool off. When we complained at 9 pm that the room was too warm we were told to prop the door open. Obviously this is a security and privacy concern. We left early the next morning and called the next day to report the problem. The property owner understands this a problem but was very nasty. These owners should not be in the hospitality business. Do not stay here.
