Forget Me Not Private Room in Shared Home location

  : Clean bed, good proximity to ski hills, and quiet.
  : Private room is private, but once you close the door you cut off all heat to the room. So your privacy and security of your items depends on your desired comfort. When it is -15°F out that is less than stellar. The owner has a permanent tenant there and that created an awkward feeling like you were interfering with their day to day when they were around. On my first morning someone had left a door to the laundry room open and froze the pipes, so no running water. On my second night stay the owner had an issue with the people staying in the downstairs unit and called the police over a civil matter, but failed to tell them it was the downstairs unit which has a not so obvious separate entrance. So at 1am I had police wake me up with their weapons drawn because they were told someone had broken in and was vandalizing the property. Was very confusing for the police and ruins your weekend. I cancelled my last night stay and the owner was difficult about not refunding me that night for my troubles unless she could rent that night out. Had to go over her head to booking.com and they immediately agreed with me and refunded the one night.
