Americas Choice Inn & Suites

Disappointing
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
  : The facility is clean.
: The security door at the front of the building was broken so anyone could enter. I was charged a no show fee for one of the nights even though I changed my reservation due to a family emergency. Apparently, staff did not check the email box, therefore, there was no response to my request for a change in dates. One of the staff told me to call back to speak to the manager. When I called back and asked to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager. Not very trustworthy. This is the most convenient hotel for me when I visit Arizona, never had a problem until now, and I won't be staying here again.

: The front desk staff was hands down the worst I have ever encountered. The room was not ready when we arrived after the check in time. The lady at the front desk was completely unfriendly and was on her phone acting as if we were an inconvenience and did not even speak to us. The room was surface clean, but definitely needed more attention. We found a dead lizard in the room. It was advertised as completely remodeled...definitely would disagree with that statement as the tub was damaged and it looked like it was just painted over in the room...door was old and not part of a remodel. My husband had something that resembled eggs for breakfast, but we weren't sure what they were actually made of, so we had to go get breakfast elsewhere. This was one of the worst places we have stayed.
