Mountain Top Retreat

Disappointing
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: The view is great and it was nice having the kitchen and washer/dryer.
: No staff available during entire stay, no welcome packet , no access to pool area. There were buckets of opened paint in two closets, a badly frayed rug in the living room that kept tripping people. The front door is so worn that the deadbolt barely catches the frame. The electronic lock looks good, but it doesn't latch well. We manually locked the door from inside and propped a chair against the knob to keep it closed at night. For the money we paid I expected a lot more. We've been to other timeshares for less and gotten better. The whole building needs structural work especially stairways and railings. Balcony doors do not lock, furniture is a bit run down. We were charged a "COVID cleaning fee but there was mold in the shower compartments where you put soap and shampoo and stuff.

: There were bed bugs upon arrival in one of the twin beds. The property manager stated they would send pest control out the following morning and they didnt. There was no broom to clean up. Some of the sheets had hair in them.

: It was underwear left behind from the previous guest and behind the dresser it was old receipts and other items behind it.

Poor
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
  : Nothing
: Very little to cook with. Old and outdated. Cabinets/doors/drawers falling off. Trip hazard from dining till kitchen. Front door flimsy. Banisters outside rotting and falling apart. Strange smell to the condo. Would never recommend.

: It was a very pleasant vacation. The rooms are nice, the bed is super comfy (I've gotten more sleep in the past four nights than I have in an entire month), and it's very homey. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I think I can speak for the rest of our group as well. Other than the confusion at check-in, we have zero complaints!
: The only thing I didn't like, (and it's very miniscule) was that at first it was a bit confusing when checking in. It seemed a little sketchy when the office was closed and we were just given a code to the door. But once I read more into the FAQs, it eased my nerves about it.

  : Quiet
: Sofa, chair, mattresses worn out. Sank way in to them. One twin mattress had had springs instead of sinking in it.

: The view was absolutely beautiful and it was so nice that the place came with everything needed so I didnt have to pack extra or buy things twice.
: The rugs throughout just need to be trashed, replacing would make a nice difference. The description says a sofa bed but there wasnt one and the sofa is as old and worn down as the rugs. Only the tv in the living room works , which was a bummer. And the pool was okay but the hot tub was disappointing but it was with soft jets and warm not hot so I had a okay stay but the 3 rd floor climb plus very uncomfortable old beds made it somewhere I would never stay again. I think you should spend just a little money and update the rugs , sofa and at least the two twin beds and would make a huge difference.

: The place was not clean. I tried to call Several times and email the property upon arrival and during my stay. No one email me or called me back until late at night 10:30 pm the night before checking out. (FYI: if you call the number provided the system will tell you to leave a call back number and they will call you back when its your turn next in line. I called and left a number at least 5 different times.) The WiFi DID NOT WORK AT ALL! Bad signal no cell service. The place was dirty and some kind of bug. Sure its not bed bug. But my child was bit in the face when he woke up. Bad customer service. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Of course this isnt what stung or bit my child. However just showing in the pic how dirty the place is. And no we didnt leave the door open. We only used this place to sleep. We were out majority of the time.

Wonderful

: The place wad very comfortable. The view was beautiful. Really enjoyed the screened in porch.
: There was only a DVD player in the bedroom with the twin beds, no cable TV. The door lock was very hard to lock and unlock
