  : Perfect location for visiting Mt Rainier Gondola, Sunrise and Tipsoo Lake. Stayed in the Village Inn building. Room was no frills but comfortable. Bed was very comfortable, but rather high for a short person to get onto. Breakfast was self serve continental, with a reasonable choice of items. Limited choice for eating in the evening, but this was pre-winter season so very quiet.
  : Height of bed - difficult to get on and off for someone short!

  : The resort is fairly close to Sunrise, which has stunning views of Mt. Rainier.
  : Well, considering we arrived just two days after end of season, we were disappointed that the condola wasn't running, and that all the area lodges had closed. Also, this location has no amenities, not even a store within a 30 minute drive and the restaurant at the Alpine Inn nearby was only open on weekends; although its Snorting Elk pub was open, they only sell pub food.The room was small. Although it (thankfully!) had a small fridge, there was no microwave in the room, which would be nice, because it's absolutely necessary that you bring some food with you.

  : A great location though the hotel itself - at least its village inn part - is very obsolete with a limited comfort and requires a thorough renovation. Therefore the price-qualify ratio leaves a lot to be desired :-(

  : maid service each day- needed trash taken out, more paper cups for next day morning coffee/tea; water pressure cld be better, more hot water, iron in the room, had very low toilets almost like your squating,the rooms had old mildew smells.

Disappointing

  : We picked this location, which is a ski area in winter, because it was sort of close to the trailhead of a hike we wanted to do. There are a lot of hotels at Crystal Mountain, but the Alpine Inn was definitely not what I hoped, especially for the price. I was even off season!
  : The room was clean, though out of date, but the thing that bothered us was that the hot water was not working properly and ran out during both my shower and then my husbands an hour or so later. We told the guy in the lobby and he said that they had been having trouble with it, and if we turned the water off for a little while and then turned it back on the hot water usually came back. This is obviously not very pleasant to do in the middle of a shower. Other than that, the toilet seat in the room was too big for the toilet, so when you sat on it it slipped to the side and you ended up sitting on the bare toilet, which is icky, even when it's clean. One lamp above the bed was also kind of hanging off the wall. So, the room was just plane old tacky. The whole area of the ski "resort" seemed pretty tacky. The breakfast buffet was minimal - carbs, yogurt and hard boiled eggs.
