  : The hotel is just a few minutes drive from the airport. The room was spotlessly clean; however it was not cleaned by the staff. I don't know if this was by oversightor if it is hotel policy. If I had stayedmore than 3 nights, I would have checked at the front desk. As other guests have mentioned, there are no restaurantsor stores within a short walking distance. But there are plenty within a longer walking distance or a short drive.

  : The property was located within a short drive of the Ft Lauderdale cruise terminal. The person at the reception desk was professional and pleasant to deal with. The shower had excellent water pressure. And those are the best things I can say about this hotel.
  : First, the property seemed to be hosting several guests in various nearby rooms where I strongly suspect street drugs were being sold and sex workers were plying their trade. There were various people coming and going in the parking lot all evening, stopping briefly to interact with people loitering in cars in the parking lot. Second, the smoke detector in our room was missing from its mounting fixture. Gone, just gone. The microwave oven wasnt plugged in. When we attempted to plug it in to use, we discovered the power cord wasnt long enough to reach the wall receptacle. So we had to move the microwave in order to use it. There was no plug in the sink, so traditional shaving is impossible unless you fill the plastic ice bucket with hot water and shave that way. There are no laundry facilities at this hotel. if you need to do laundry while traveling, youll have to walk a couple sketchy blocks to the nearest coin laundry, where the local indigents will panhandle you while you do your wash. Lastly, we felt we periodically had to check on our vehicle in the parking lot several times during the night, with a constant worry that it would be broken into by one of the idle young men that always seemed to be hanging around in the parking lot for some reason. Suffice to say, we will never stay here again at this location.

  : It is a run down property in need of a face lift Tv did not work, microwave had a blinking light that could not get rid of, sagging mattress, dingy towels, security bar missing on door, breakfast was a granola bar, juice and coffee out of a machine.
