  : The location was excellent--easy walk to deep ellum and major downtown sites. Great that they served breakfast. The Texas-shaped waffles were a nice touch that didn't go unappreciated. The pool was a decent size and large area, deep enough for laps if you're careful. The room was very spacious, and was conducive to both relaxing and working. Ice machines were on every other floor so it was an easy trip either up or down to get ice.
  : Getting extra pillows, which were necessary because the pillows were way too soft for my taste, seemed to be a chore. Asked for three and had to go down to reception to get it after I never heard back, and there was one sitting on the front desk for me.While the location was great, be aware that it can get noisy on that stretch due to people driving through with loud engines or blasting music during relatively late hours. If you're looking for quiet, maybe consider a different part of town.

  : A kettle would have been welcome. The breakfast was adequate but would have liked decaf coffee and gluten-free bread and/or pastries.
