  : Clean hotel in a perfect location for a weekend getaway!
  : It may seem like a small thing but there was no microwave in the room nor in the main area. Also, I texted the number given to ask for help on a matter and never heard back. Overall a good hotel but just a few things that they should consider.

  : The location at the end of the street felt a bit deserted when we arrived, and we were approached by a homeless person at the front door. Not having a staff check-in felt a little insecure given all that.

  : Perfect location. Parking is good. The look, quaintness and renovations, are great. Security is good. Very clean.
  : We need more adequate soap in bathrooms, not a tiny tube of gel enough for 1 person per 1 shower. Even less pricey hotels offer large pump bottle soaps, shampoos. For this level of boutique property, you need more amenities. We need spoons in coffee service. Some of the mattresses our family members slept on need upgrading; uncomfortable. The hotel staff could have been more professional & more client-friendly for this level of boutique priced hotel. (Communicated via email and phone).

  : We stayed in the Violeta room. It was very spacious and overall, clean. Weve never been to a concierge-less place before but we were able to access the place without any issues.
  : The vent/fan above the bed was caked in dust. I happen to be a stickler about that sort of thing. Also, I had emailed to see if we could do an early check-in. I was told to inquire again the day before my stay to see if this was possible. I get that this place is concierge-less, but there are some additional things the property could automate, such as this, to enhance the customer experience. There was a plastic gratuity box on the nightstand that I thought was tacky. A nice notecard would be better, in my opinion. Lastly, we arrived in Culpepper on a Thursday evening around 7:30pm and most restaurants were already shutting down. Culpepper was a stop over on our drive from NJ to NC. I read up on Culpepper and it seemed like a cute and fun place to visit with great restaurants and breweries. So I was super disappointed to realize its very sleepy on a Thursday night. I couldnt find the breweries that I read were supposed to be within waking distance of the place, but we found a Thai restaurant that was bustling (I guess only place that stays open late) and food was great.

  : I loved the location and look of the property.
  : Everything was great except the bed (the most important part of the room). It felt like I was sleeping in a bowl and it was impossible to get comfortable. I really wanted to write a positive review for this quaint establishment but the bed made that impossible. Please upgrade the mattress to match the beautiful environment this place deserves.
