: The property owner offered to suggest alternative accommodations when I told him I was not comfortable staying.
: The property was not well cared for. The room or dorm was what Randall initially referred to as the common room. There was no door on the dorm. It seems this person rents out space in his/their home and it is not what is traditionally referred to as a hostel, that would be a stretch. This place would be like paying your neighbor to stay in their living room and they didnt particularly keep the place up and didnt worry about odors and maintenance. Also, can also be the equivalent of paying to couch surf. There ia an organization called Couch Surfing, and it is about community, sharing housing. Check it out! It helps travelers keep costs down when traveling. I hope the owners will consider advertising on a different forum for what they are offering.

: The host was very friendly and informative
: There was a permeated smell of cooking in the house which was unpleasant until one gets used to it.

Poor
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
: No privacy, stated it was a room, it was in the community room, sectioned off by a divider. The host was sleeping on a mattress 5 ft away. Nothing good about this.
: The entire atmosphere was unsettling. I got really bad vibes from the host. A couple of the people there I also got the creeps from. I dont recommend this, especially if you are on your own.
