  : The host was very friendly and even offered us a discount because we had a miscommunication with how many guests we were having and the listing was misleading. We were made to believe we’d have a pull out sofa but when we arrived our room did not have the pull out sofa anymore. The host was accommodating and offered us an extra room at a discounted price! He was very understanding and flexible with our needs. However his colleague who was in charge of making breakfast in the morning for guests was very rude. We asked her if she could make extra breakfast since we had a larger party and she said we were supposed to only eat one sausage patty per person. Mind you there were no instructions as to how many portions we were supposed to eat in the “Breakfast Included” details. She expressed hostile and cold behavior toward us. On the day of checkout we rang the service button to return our room key. She came and we told her we were checking out and handed her the key. She said thank you and walked away. Mind you the day before we saw her being very friendly to another couple and telling them to have ta great day while they were checking out. Her service was extremely unfriendly toward us and we believe she might’ve been racist. We felt uncomfortable with her and won’t be returning.

  : Room wasn’t as described on “Booking.com” so we packed into 1 small unit, but management made it right the second night.

  : There was a marathon the weekend we rented the place. Nobody told us. At 6am in the morning there was screaming and yelling which lasted til 11:30. It was literally right in front of the house. Would have been nice to know. We would have stayed elsewhere.

  : Breakfast was very good. The main bed was comfortable. Pull out bed was okay.
  : The bathroom was very small and the bottom of the shower curtain appeared to have mildew? The overall place was smaller than expected. Mostly I didn’t like the bathroom.

  : The location was great. I was able to walk around many of the sites near the lake. The house was well maintained. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The host, Liz was personable and kind. Breakfast was good.
  : It’s spring and the floors were cold at night and in the morning. The floors were also a bit creaky, which is not unexpected in an older home.

  : The breakfast was ok. Very casual. Our first morning, coffee was ready, but we helped ourselves to yogurt in refrigerator, bagels and english muffins, cereals, peanut butter, nutella and homemade baked apple/biscuit casserole. and fresh bananas, apples, and melonThe second morning, in addition to above there was scrambled eggs and sausage and fresh berries. Not gourmet food, but nourishing.
