Carolina Beach Inn

Very Good
Traveller Type:
: The inn had a really cute porch and we were upgraded to a spacious suite with kitchen, which was very convenient. It's super close to the beach, only a few minutes walk to all the boardwalk fun! I also loved the back porch and garden, there were cute dogs there. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful.
: The electricity was out due to a storm when we arrived, so we spent the first 18 hours of our stay without aircon and only half the lights working - the staff was trying to be helpful but we arrived late so we couldn't get it fixed until late morning, almost midday on our first day. I kind of expected some kind of compensation for it since it was a very hot night of sleep and we had to arrive in the dark. I'd also booked a room with a sofa bed, but there was only a small cot that was more suited to a kid than an adult. We found a dead cockroach in the bathroom :/
